Travel with Students

Faculty and staff accompanying TCU students abroad must follow the Procedures for TCU Sponsored Activities Away from Campus, outlined by the Chancellor’s Cabinet. Global Learning Programs and Other International Faculty/Staff-Led Programs are the typical models for traveling with students abroad.

Global Learning Programs

Global Learning Programs are short-term study abroad programs led by TCU faculty and managed by the Center for International Studies. Once approved, the Center for International Studies provides holistic support, assisting with student selection, contracts, billing, scholarships & aid, enrollment, orientation, insurance and more.

Other International Programs

TCU faculty and staff lead other international programs that are managed and resourced by Departments, Deans, and Unit Heads. The Dean or Unit Head is responsible for approving programs, overseeing overall program management, and responding to issues and emergencies.
